The new Aquatics Center for the City of Oceanside is located west of the existing El Corazon Senior Community Center and includes a 56 meter by 25 yard “competition pool” with bleachers, a 82'x 75' “Instructional Pool” and “Recreation Pool.” The pools are surrounded by a spacious deck connected to new support facility buildings and to the existing senior community center’s courtyard to allow for shared use between the two facilities. Shaded areas are provided on various parts of the deck, including at the turf area to the south. The 15,500 SF new support facility buildings include a Hall for special events located adjacent to the existing center, a main entry Lobby fronting the parking lot to the north, Staff Offices, Locker Rooms Facilities, Concessions and Pool Mechanical Rooms.
