Richard Xie

Richard was born and raised in San Diego. His love for drawing and fascination with the components that make up our everyday items led him to eventually pursue a career in Architecture. But Architecture was a career he stumbled upon. Throughout high school, Richard spent much of his time chasing his dream to design cars. Yet, through all of the car illustrations he created, he noticed that there was a void. The illustrations lacked character, a story. He realized that beyond the cars sitting in his sketchbook, there was potential for something grand. Richard turned his attention towards an Interior Architecture Degree at San Diego State, to start his search for ways to enrich the environment we live in. Outside of pursuing this goal, you can often find Richard tinkering with computers or getting in the daily workout.
